The relationship between composer and context is usually clearly noticed in the poetry ‘South Of My Days' and ‘Train Journey'. A pivotal second in Wright's career took place during WWII when her father expected that the lady return to the family's lamb station. Around the train quest home she realised which the land through which she was travelling was where the girl belonged. This kind of reconnection with the land determined the future way of her poetry.

South Of My own Days demonstrates the relationship among composer and context as Wright's link with the property is obvious. In the poem ‘South Of My Days' Wright emphasises the effect of imagery which displays the physical identification with land and ancestoral jewelry throughout the initially line " South of my days' circle, component to my blood's country, ”. Colloquial language is used to imply that the traveller is usually friendly " will deliver again some day in a wave of rambler roses, ”. Halfway through the first stanza, Judith Wright uses personification to create a picture of a vulnerable landscape of winter through " of bony inclines wincing within the water”. Her deep connection to the property and periods highlights her context, which is a connection with the Australian rose bush.

‘Train Journey' emphasises the partnership between Wright and the Aussie bush through her gratitude of mother nature. In the poem ‘Train Journey' the picture is set by using a persona through this line " Glassed with chilly sleep and dazzled by the moon”. The word ‘glassed' identifies how she's glassed in by the windows of the educate and as the lady split up by nature by the piece of engineering that is selling her across the Australian surroundings. The woods are explained through a simile " plus the small woods on their uncoloured slope”, this simile makes reference literally to the trees, all their branches articulate and pointed, pointing up-wards in a purposeful direction, and moving through the wind that passes through their leaves and twigs.
